The Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference
Center is the same facility in which we originally held Boogie In The
Bluegrass. Many of you may remember it as The Clarion Hotel and you may
recall the huge ballroom with lots of room to dance and plenty of tables.
Well, we're happy to say the hotel has been purchased by a group of
Louisville inventors who paid cash for the facility and have committed over
eight million dollars toward remodeling the rooms, meeting spaces, and pool
area. We are excited to be able to return to this facility since the
conference center has so much room. In addition, the hotel has contracted
for room rates even lower than last year. The conference center ballroom is
over 40,000 square feet so we will be able to install more dance floor than
ever before. Even so, the room is so large we will have ample space and
plenty of tables and seating for everyone. You won't have to worry about
arriving late to the dance only to find there are no seats.
Unlike the last couple of
years where our Saturday afternoon cookout with live music by Lamont
Gillespie and The Saints Blues Band was subject to some rather chilly, windy
weather, this year we will once again have our indoor pool party with many
rooms accessing the pool area directly. We'll have our live band again this
year and plenty of fun for everyone.
The facility has excellent access to I-64 and is located just minutes from the
area attractions and downtown Louisville. The Hotel provides Wicks Family
Restaurant and Lounge, Tazza Mia Coffee Shop, Airport Shuttle, Indoor Pool,
Hot Tub, Sauna, Business Center, Fitness Center and Free Wireless High Speed
Internet Access and Room Service. The Ramada Plazas Triple Crown Pavilion
provides over 44,000 square feet of Meeting and Banquet Space. We are an
excellent choice for sports fans, associations, military and groups. No Pets
